Managing Application Settings

Manage how applicants are scored, scheduled, and communicated with

Note: Only Account Owners can adjust Application Settings. These settings define how applicants are evaluated, what information is collected, how interviews are scheduled, and how communications are handled.

 

To access:

  1. Click your name in the top-right corner.
  2. From the dropdown, select Company Settings.
  3. Open the Application tab.
This section allows you to manage application and survey settings for your account.

Application Experience & Scoring

Controls how applicant scoring works and how information is displayed during the hiring process.
  • Use Full Application Score: Enables scoring based on the entire application.
    • Minimum Score on Full Application: Sets the minimum score (out of 10) required for an applicant to be considered qualified. Default: 7/10.
    • Enable Sprockets Profile Matching: Allows candidate scores to be compared against your company’s Success Profile.
  • Company Values and Candidate Fit: Displays your company’s values and the qualities of ideal candidates. (Custom text provided by your organization.)
    • Example: At Sprockets, we value ownership, emotional intelligence, customer obsession, and a growth mindset. We look for candidates who are proactive, resilient, and collaborative. People who communicate clearly, lead with empathy, and thrive in feedback-rich environments.
  • Show wage in career page and application form: Displays pay rate information to applicants.
  • Show Assessment Results in Applicants Section: Displays scoring and assessment details directly in the Applicants tab.

Applicant Eligibility & Requirements

Controls what information is required from applicants before they can submit an application.
  • Authenticate Applicants: Requires applicants to verify their phone number before applying.
  • Require Minimum Age Confirmation: Applicants must confirm they meet minimum age requirements.
  • Require Zip Code: Collects applicant’s zip code as part of the application.
  • Ask Applicants to Upload Resume: Applicants will be asked to provide a resume.
  • Auto-Reject Previously Rejected Applicants: Automatically rejects applicants who have been previously rejected by your team.

Automated Scheduling & Interview Rules

Configure rules for automated interview scheduling.
  • Allow Jojo to Reach Out for Interview Scheduling: When enabled, Jojo (the automation assistant) contacts qualified applicants to schedule interviews.
  • One Interview Per Applicant: Prevents applicants from scheduling multiple interviews simultaneously.
  • Allow Double Booking
    • Enabled: Any interview type can be double-booked.
    • Disabled: Only in-person interviews may be double-booked.
  • Check Connected Calendars for Conflicts Before Scheduling an Interview: Helps avoid scheduling conflicts.
  • Use Default Availability for New Hiring Managers: Newly created hiring managers will have interview scheduling enabled and a default availability set. This schedule applies only to locations assigned during user creation.

Applicant Communication & Notifications

Manage how applicants are contacted and notified throughout the hiring process.
  • Email Applicants to Complete Missing Questions: Automatically emails applicants to finish incomplete applications. If Jojo is enabled, applicants are contacted via both Jojo and email.
  • Customize On-Screen Confirmation Message: Personalize the message applicants see immediately after submitting an application.
  • Customize the confirmation SMS/Email applicants receive after applying: Edit the automated confirmation messages applicants receive via text or email.
  • Notify Applicants of Rejection: Sends SMS and email notifications when applicants are rejected.
  • Include Additional Instructions for Interview: Add important details for the applicant that will appear on the interview confirmation screen and in notifications.
