Job description templates help keep role language consistent while allowing teams to use dynamic variables for details that change by role, location, or posting.

Steps

Open Admin

Open Admin.

Open the Job Description Templates area

Open the area where job description templates are managed.

Create the template

Create a reusable job description template with the right structure, responsibilities, requirements, and brand language.

Use dynamic variables where needed

Add dynamic variables for details that may change by role, location, or posting, such as job title, location, pay, benefits, or manager-specific details.

Save the template

Save the template so it can be applied to job postings.

Apply the template to a job posting

After the job description template is created, apply it to the correct job posting so the job uses the approved description content.

Open the job posting — Choose the job that should use the template.

Select the template — Go to the job description or job content area and select the correct job description template.

Review and save — Confirm dynamic fields populate correctly, then save and preview the posting before publishing.
