Download a QR Code for a Job Posting

## Overview Sprockets allows you to download a QR code for a specific job posting. This makes it easy to share an open role in places where applicants may see it in person or on printed materials. Use a job-specific QR code when you want to promote a role through: - In-store signage - Flyers - Table tents - Recruiting events - Local community boards - Employee referral materials - Social or printed campaigns When an applicant scans the QR code, they can be directed to the job posting so they can apply more easily. ## Before you start Make sure the job is active and ready for applicants. You should also confirm that the job title, location, application form, and posting details are correct before downloading and sharing the QR code. You will need access to the **Jobs** page and permission to view job actions. ## Step-by-step walkthrough 1. Log in to Sprockets. 2. Go to the **Jobs** tab in the main navigation. 3. Find the job posting you want to share. 4. Select the **three-dot menu** on the right side of that job row. 5. In the **More Actions** menu, choose **Download QR Code for Job Board**. 6. Wait for the confirmation notification that the QR code has downloaded. 7. Locate the QR code file on the device you are using. 8. Add the QR code to the flyer, sign, handout, or campaign material where you want applicants to scan and apply. ## Arcade walkthrough ## Best practice Use a unique QR code for each job posting so applicants land on the correct role and location. Before printing or sharing the QR code, scan it from a phone to confirm it opens the right job posting. ## Troubleshooting ### I do not see the job I need Check that you are on the **Jobs** page, that the correct filters are selected, and that you have access to the job’s location. ### I do not see the QR code option Confirm you opened the job’s **three-dot menu** and that your user role has permission to access job actions. ### The QR code downloaded, but I cannot find it Check the downloads folder on the device you are using. The confirmation notification means the QR code file was downloaded to your current device. ### The QR code opens the wrong job Return to Sprockets, confirm you selected the correct job row, then download the QR code again.
