How to Sponsor Jobs on Indeed

This guide explains how to correctly tag job locations and sponsor jobs on Indeed within your Sprockets system.

Prerequisites

Prerequisites

Before sponsoring a job, ensure the job's Location has both tags assigned in Company Settings:

• SMF Tag
• Indeed Tag

These tags must be assigned at the Location level.

Step 1

Step 1: Assign Tags to a Location

1. Navigate to Company Settings → Locations.
2. Find the location you want to update.
3. Click the Action Menu and select Manage Location.
4. In the Tags field:
   • Search for and select the required tags.
   • Click Apply, then Save Changes.

To create a new tag:

• Type the new tag in the Create new tag field at the bottom of the list and click Add, or
• Go to Company Settings → Tags → Create a New Tag to add multiple tags and assign them later to locations.

Step 2

Step 2: Sponsor a Job on Indeed

1. Find the job you want to sponsor.
2. Under the Indeed Sponsorship column, click the Set Sponsorship pill.
3. A side panel opens with a dropdown list containing all tags assigned to the job's location.
4. Select only the relevant Indeed Tag (e.g., MT-LOAN).
5. Click Save Sponsorship.

• The Indeed Sponsorship pill updates to a green "Sponsored" pill.
• The selected Indeed Tag is added to the job description.

Step 3

Step 3: Remove Sponsorship from a Job

1. Repeat the navigation from Step 2.
2. In the side panel, click Remove Sponsorship.
3. The pill reverts to the default (non-sponsored) state.

How to Identify Sponsored Jobs on Indeed

In the Jobs section, look for these indicators:

Indicators of a Sponsored Job

• Indeed Sponsorship Pill — visible under the Indeed Sponsorship column. Sponsored jobs display a green "Sponsored" pill.
• Indeed Tag in Job Description — the job description includes the specific Indeed Tag (e.g., MT-LOAN). Do not delete or modify this text; it maintains the sponsorship link with Indeed.

Filtering

Filtering Sponsored Jobs

1. Go to the Jobs section.
2. Toggle Show only Indeed Sponsored Jobs.
3. The list updates to display only active sponsored jobs.
