Job templates make it easy to maintain consistent, on-brand job descriptions across multiple positions. They use variables—such as
[Job Name]
, [Wage Rate]
, or [Location]
—to automatically populate the right information for each posting.

How Job Templates Work
- Each job can have its own unique description or use a shared template.
- When you apply a template, it automatically fills in the description with pre-approved corporate content and dynamic variables.
- Templates can be corporate-managed (read-only) or custom versions created by your organization.
- If you modify the text directly in a job description, Sprockets automatically unlinks that job from the template—keeping the original version intact.
Tips
- Corporate templates cannot be edited directly but can be copied for customization.
- Use descriptive names for templates (e.g., "Front Desk – Spa Template") to make them easier for team members to find.
- To manage templates, go to Company Settings → Job Postings.
