What's Included with Sprockets Onboarding?

Sprockets Onboarding, powered by Humanly, helps new hires complete required forms and tasks digitally after they are hired. Your onboarding flow may include standard federal forms, applicable state tax forms, background check-related tasks, and company-specific forms configured for your organization.

What forms are included?

The forms available in onboarding can vary by account, location, role, and configuration. Common examples may include:

  • Federal forms, such as I-9 and W-4
  • Applicable state tax forms
  • Background check-related forms or tasks, if included in your setup
  • Standard forms assigned through your organization's onboarding policies
  • Customer-specific forms configured for your account
Form Assignment

How forms are assigned

The exact forms each new hire receives depend on your account setup. Forms are assigned through onboarding policies so employees receive the forms that apply to them.

Forms can be assigned based on criteria such as:

  • Location, state, city, or site
  • Job title, role, or job type
  • Department or employee group
  • Employer, brand, or business unit
  • Other customer-specific rules
Custom Forms

Can we add custom forms?

Yes. If your organization needs additional forms, your Customer Success rep can help add custom forms to your Sprockets Onboarding flow.

Custom forms may include:

  • Employee handbook acknowledgements
  • Policy acknowledgements
  • Pay card or direct deposit forms
  • Role-specific agreements
  • Location-specific documents
  • Manager-completed forms or multi-page forms requiring multiple inputs
Setup Requirements

What we need to add a custom form

Custom onboarding forms are configured by the Sprockets team, powered by Humanly. Your Customer Success rep will work with you to collect the form details, confirm distribution rules, and coordinate setup.

To add a custom form, please provide:

  • Final PDF version of each form
  • Customer-facing form name employees should see
  • Short description or purpose of the form
  • Which employees should receive the form
  • Any role, location, state, city, job, or employee group rules
  • Required fields and optional fields
  • Any fields that should be completed by a manager or admin

How to request a custom form

To request a new custom onboarding form or update an existing one, contact your Customer Success rep. They will help collect the required form details and coordinate the setup process.
